Here are some pictures from our trip to the East Coast on a Historic Tour. Our tour started in Washington D.C., Maryland, Penn. (Philly & Lancaster Co.), Virginia, & W. Virginia.
We went in April of 2004 & the weather was rainy & cold, but we still had a great time. We would want to go back again for a longer visit. We saw the end of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC and we were very lucky that the blossoms were still in full bloom. I had my 50th birthday while on the trip in Washington, DC and that night at dinner next to the river in the fish market district there were fireworks and lighted dragon boats. A good way to remember your 50th birthday. We both had the best time and we truly enjoyed all of our traveling companions on the tour. Joan was fantasic, she was funny and full of knowage of the history of the area. Our driver, Ruben, was also great, he kept Joan on her toes. A big thank you to Joan and Ruben for a most enjoyable time and a great memory of the East Coast.
